Dr. Benjamin Charles Andrews, Jr., local physician and Americus native, was presented the Outstanding Eagle Scout Award by the Boy Scouts of America, the National Eagle Scout Association, and the South Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America, at a dinner on Thursday, August 30, 2018.  Shown with Dr. Andrews are Judge Joe Bishop (left) and Senator George Hooks (right) who presented the award.
